So, with summer winding down and a whiff of autumn in the air, some people are already starting the Christmas countdown – my local Tesco is even setting up the festive aisle.
However, you may be pleased to know that following last year’s kerfuffle, when I peaked far too early, I’ve made a promise not mention the C-word until at least December (even though there are only 110 sleeps to go)…
No, dear Foxy fans, I have much more important things to consider, the most crucial being that next Friday is INTERNATIONAL CHOCOLATE DAY, according to the US National Confectioners Association.
Mind you, not that there is a shortage of celebratory days for us chocoholics, including Bittersweet Chocolate Day on January 10, Ghana Chocolate Day on February 14, World Chocolate Day on July 9, Latvia Chocolate Day on July 11, Milk Chocolate Day on July 28, White Chocolate Day on September 22, Chocolate Covered Anything Day on December 16 and Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Day on December 25 (OK I made up that last one but you get my drift).
Anyway, I was just doing some research for this when up popped a link to a marvellous dating site called Chocolate Lovers Passions.
And I quote: “Meet others who share your appreciation for milk chocolate, dark chocolate, hot chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake and more. Sign up now to enjoy free chocolate chat, message boards and email.”
I must admit I am a sucker for a finger of fudge, but it’s never quite enough.
Then again, Chocolate Lovers Passions is part of the Passions Network, which has over 260 niche dating, social networking and chat sites. So even when I have had my fill of CHOCOLATE (as if) I can then try my luck on Trucker Passions, Teachers Passions, Medical Passions, Legal Passions, Military Passions or even Beer Passions and Wine Passions.
And who says online dating is boring?
