Iris is bolstering its content marketing credentials by recruiting Havas Worldwide’s head of film, Leila Bartlam, in the new role of head of moving image and content.
Bartlam will lead a team of more than 30 staff, and work across all the agency’s clients, which include Adidas, Barclaycard, Britvic, Domino’s and Unilever.
She will report directly to chief executive Dan Saxby and executive creative director Chris Baylis.
Bartlam started her career at Duckworth Finn in 2000 and spent five years at the agency as a producer, before going freelance and working at BBH, BMB, CHI VCCP, Ogilvy and Publicis.
She was appointed head of TV at Adam & Eve in 2008 and then had a spell as managing director of production company Cut & Run; she has been at Havas Worldwide since May last year.
Her client portfolio includes work for British Gas, Smirnoff Ice, Ocado, McCain, Selfridges, Surf, Ford, First Choice and Ballantine’s whisky.
Saxby said: “We continue to invest in world-class talent. Leila brings a wealth of experience, passion and a reputation for cutting-edge ideas and delivery, and will be a strong leader to our existing film and content team.”
