Stationery and office supplies retailer Ryman has become the second firm in the Theo Paphitis empire to launch a new loyalty scheme in the past few months as its strives to support its customers through the cost of living crisis.
Ryman Rewards will offer members exclusive pricing across hundreds of the retailer’s products in-store and online, as well as the opportunity to earn rewards points with purchases, prize draws and personalised offers.
Customers can join the programme free in-store or through the retailer’s website, with new members getting 100 free points with their first purchase on sign-up.
Launched in October 1893 by Henry Ryman on Great Portland Street, London, the firm now has over 200 stores supported by an online shop, and offers business accounts and special discounts for students.
Former Dragons’ Den star Paphitis bought the business in March 1995 from the receivers after its collapse. He also owns lingerie retailer Boux Avenue and Robert Dyas, which launched its first loyalty scheme in the firm’s history back in May.
Paphitis said: “We will support our customers through tricky times by offering reduced pricing on a diverse range of everyday items when they sign up and by rewarding them with points every time they shop with us.
“We’re delighted to be sharing this unique opportunity to reduce the cost of their Ryman shopping basket and are sure that our customers share in our excitement for the Ryman Rewards launch.”
