Independent media agency The7stars is beefing up its data, insight and analytics capabilities with an expanded 20-strong team, appointing head of insight Helen Rose to oversee the department.
Having started her career at Billets in 2002, Rose switched to BBC Three as a media planner before joined Viacom, where she had an eight-year spell, ultimately becoming insight director of international advertising and brand solutions.
She joined The7Stars in 2014 will be responsible for leading the newly combined data and insight team, which will work closely with the agency’s strategy, planning and activation teams.
Set up in 2005 by former Carat director Jenny Biggam, the agency’s clients include Associated British Foods, Ancenstry.co,uk, Coral, Ladbrokes, Nintendo, Pizza Express and Warner Music Group. It also runs QT, a consumer confidence and attitude tracking study conducted on a quarterly basis.
Biggam said: “Data and insight are becoming increasingly important as the starting point for delivering the strategic thinking and creative solutions that deliver real impact in media today.
“In bringing our expertise in this area together under Helen’s leadership, we can bring even more value to every stage of the process for our clients.”
