Unilever hands Amaze online task

Unilever has appointed integrated marketing and technology company Amaze to support the FMCG giant’s 68 websites across 104 countries, building a consistent global digital presence.
The company’s brands fall into three main categories, food, personal care and home care, and include Dove, Lynx, PG Tips, Flora, Persil and Cif.
The appointment follows a competitive six-way pitch, and also includes the creation and rollout of localised content in line with each market’s individual needs. In addition, Amaze will produce centralised brand content and strategic support across Unilever’s global digital operation.
Project management, training and 24/7 technical support all form part of the service provided by Amaze to Unilever’s global team.
Unilever director of global communication channels Neil Atkinson said: “Amaze brings the experience of global digital implementation and management which is essential for achieving our online goals. The team demonstrated a solid understanding of the challenges of creating a consistent global digital presence.”
Amaze’s also works with Lexus, Toyota, Coca-Cola, Bridgestone, Dyson, Henri Lloyd and Logicalis. Commercial partner Wendy Stonefield commented: “This appointment further demonstrates our expertise in global digital strategy and unique ability to deliver specialised support services to centralised communication operations in multinational corporations.”
