WPNC has ramped up the agency’s TV creative and delivery capabilities with the appointment of a new team to enhance its reputation for exceptional DRTV, now also including online video.
Leading the team is Richie Florey, who has been promoted to production director, in a move that bolsters his existing role at WPNC. With more than a decade’s experience at the agency, Florey will now oversee TV production while continuing to manage creative teams and other production functions. He reports into WPNC founder and head of TV and video Maria Phillips.
WPNC’s TV capabilities span classic DRTV campaigns such as charity appeals; TV for legacy fundraising initiatives, including lottery products; ads to support mass participation/events; and video for social media.
Alongside Florey and Phillips, WPNC’s TV and video team includes several other experienced experts. Amaryllis Hind is WPNC’s senior TV producer, who has worked on clients including Shelter, Oxfam, The Salvation Army, Battersea, ActionAid, NCH, WaterAid, RNID and PDSA.
She ensures casting and contracts are organised smoothly – meaning the right ad gets to the right station with the right contact details – as well as dealing with sometimes difficult media negotiations.
Avtar Nahar is the agency’s award-winning editor. Using state-of-the-art video technology, he turns hours of raw footage into powerful TV and video assets. With 20 years’ experience editing TV ads for brands, he has applied his knowledge to DRTV during 16 years at WPNC.
Myles Synnott is senior designer, specialising in motion graphics, animation and VFX across a wide range of media platforms. He blends creative vision with cutting-edge AI technology to deliver innovative and high-quality solutions, to captivate and engage audiences.
Maria Phillips said: “TV is as much about seamless delivery as brilliant creative. Creative needs strong production to realise concepts on time and on budget. With the increasing diversity of video channels, from traditional TV to online, it’s vital to have agile production that can cover all the bases.
“WPNC has vast experience and expertise in both creativity and production. We’re confident the team knows more about getting results from TV and video campaigns than any other agency.”
