Sir Martin Sorrell and Lord Alan Sugar: an apology

busty idolAPOLOGY: On November 13 2015, DecisionMarketing ran a story under the headline: “Busty and the tale of little men with big egos.” In that story a serious error of editorial judgement was made in which we called Sir Martin Sorrell “Big Marty” and Baron Alan Michael Sugar “Big Al”, and ended the article with the unattributed quote: “Never mind ‘dwarf-tossing’, these two really are a couple of dwarf tossers.” We take this incident very seriously and would like to apologise for any offence caused to both Sir Martin and Lord Sugar.
Whatever. If you believe that, you’ll believe anything suckers! That’s right folks, having eventually plucked up the courage to open those two official looking letters I got last week, I’m pleased to say, neither of them were from that top legal firm to the stars Davenport Lyons. (That’s because they went bust last year. They had also been targeting innocent people trying to get money off them for file-sharing, too. Serves ’em right then.)
Anyway, the first official looking letter turned out to be from the Information Commissioner, which, as you no doubt know, would be enough to turn even the toughest company director into a jibbering wreck. Nuisance calls warning? Nah. It was just a gentle reminder to re-register (you see, we’re all legit here and everything).
The other was my DMA Awards invite (love you Chris x). Talking of which, have you bought your ticket yet? Come on, you know it makes sense, you might even get to meet little ol’ me.
Of course, I’ll also be dishing out the top prize in the inaugural Busty Balls Awards and believe me, you won’t want to miss out on that.
The lucky fella might even get to come back to my upgraded prison cell; EasyHotel Victoria anyone? Well, it might not be The Ritz, but apparently my hotel room does have a window this time, which is a marked improvement on EasyHotel East Croydon I can tell you. And if it’s good enough for the Granby girls and the George Clooney of the PR world, it’s good enough for Busty, even though I might struggle to fit my 38DDs through the door. Ho hum, good job I like a squeeze…and I make no apology for that!
