Pulse lands React charity account

spicer 2React, the organisation which helps children with life-limiting conditions, has awarded its integrated marketing account to Pulse Group without a pitch.
Kew-based React – which stands for Rapid Effective Assistance for Children with Potentially Terminal Illnesses – works to provide comfort, dignity and greater independence as well as providing practical equipment to those who need it.
Vicky Andreas, React client services director, commented: “Right from the start Pulse have put forward an abundance of ideas, showing enthusiasm and passion and helping us to recognise opportunities from every angle. As a relatively small charity we are delighted that they have taken us under their wing and know they are there to guide us through the challenges ahead.”
Pulse Group chief executive Mike Spicer (pictured) added: “First and foremost, it’s a great, great cause. The work that Vicky and the team do at React makes huge differences to thousands of children across the UK. It’s an honour to work with such a charity, and we’ll be doing our upmost to help put them on the map.”
Since joining the agency in November 2010, Spicer has overhauled the business, bringing in former Rapp creative directors Magnus Thorne and Paul Turner as joint ECDs, as well as one of Marc Michaels’ senior team at the now-defunct COI, Daniel Pallett.
