Omega Pharma, the company behind head lice brand Lyclear, has appointed Stephens Francis Whitson to handle a customer relationship management account, working alongside sister shop VCCP Health.
The agency is developing a CRM and eCRM strategy to develop a launch, acquisition and long-term retention programme for a new product, which has yet to be unveiled.
SFW was awarded the business following an informal pitch process, during which Omega held discussions with a number of agencies.
Peter Worster, business director at SFW, said: “Omega appointed us based on our understanding of the challenge and the strategic and creative solutions we proposed. This is an exciting opportunity, and we are very much looking forward to working with them.”
Omega was founded in 1987 by two former Ghent University pharmacy students, Marc Coucke and Yvan Vindevogel. The company, which is based in Belgium, offers a total of 2,000 prescription-free medicines and healthcare products, including Jungle Formula insect repellent, Buttercup Cough Syrup and Biover vitamins and food supplements.
