Leading animal welfare organisation the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) has appointed Targetbase Claydon Heeley to develop its global legacy campaign, following a competitive pitch.
The charity strives to end the suffering of billions of animals around the world – whether in the wild, living in a community, caught up in a disaster or being farmed.
WSPA international marketing manager Emma Jhita said: “We were impressed by Targetbase response to our brief. We’re actively investing in legacy marketing in order to grow and develop legacy fundraising activity to achieve its full potential.”
“Working with a creative agency that could deliver a dynamic, successful global legacy campaign was critical. The thinking and creativity that Targetbase brought to the table – linked to their focus on results – confirmed they are the right partner to move ahead with in this area of global strategic importance”
Targetbase Claydon Heeley chief executive Steve Grout added: “We have a real passion for supporting animal welfare at the agency and believe we can really help to make a difference.”
In the UK, the organisation works with direct marketing charity specialist agency Bluefrog.
