Info Arts appoints Abacus director

dawsonInformation Arts has appointed Abacus business development and client account management chief Martin Dawson as strategic solutions director.
He will be responsible for developing methods to help clients realise higher returns from business data in the growing and diversifying global market at the Harte-Hanks-owned company.
Dawson has more than 15 years’ experience in media and direct marketing, specialising in data for the past ten years, enabling multichannel clients to leverage marketing information to meet increasingly challenging return on investment metrics.
As a member of the Information Arts management team, he will work with prospective clients across various sectors including technology and telecommunications, as well as with firms which target the logistics and fleet management industries.
Information Arts managing director Donna Belanger said: “Martin is a leading authority in data innovation. We believe he will help new and existing clients unlock the power of their data to realise ever-increasing returns.”
Dawson added: “The B2B data landscape has shifted considerably over the past five years with the rise of social media. Firms have more data at their fingertips than ever before, and this can be a fantastic asset – but only if you know how to deal with it.
“My aim is to help clients make intelligent use of information and deliver insights that will take communications and customer management to a new level.”
