Lawrence exits Information Arts

Information Arts chief executive and founder Simon Lawrence has stepped down from his role 18 months after the buyout
by global multichannel direct marketing company Harte-
Hanks.
Lawrence set up the B2B data and analysis business in 1999, having worked at Emap Direct and TDS. Under his leadership the company expanded out of the UK, and now operates in Europe and the US for clients including Shell, Cisco, Vodafone and Xerox.
Information Arts first started working with Harte-Hanks in 2007, when the two companies signed an acquisition agreement which was completed in September 2010.
After working closely with Information Arts and Harte-Hanks on the succession, Lawrence has now moved on to pursue other opportunities and look into business angel investment ventures.
Lawrence also co-founded and sold the B2B Marketing Awards and was voted among the Top 20 most influential people in B2B marketing by his peers.
Lawrence said of his decision: “I am extremely proud of how far Information Arts has come – I set out to create a gold standard for B2B data services and I believe that Information Arts has irrevocably achieved this.
“Harte-Hanks was the natural step forward for Information Arts’ expansion. After an intense decade committed to the growth of the company, I am now at a point where I want to take some quality time out with my family and move on to new ventures.”
