Bargain hunter Foxy reveals her top Christmas treats

foxy 414Have you got that Black Friday feeling? This being one of the biggest days in the calendar for bargain hunting, I’m afraid I am cutting this column short as I will be far too busy scouring the Internet and the high street for the best deals.
But now that the festive season is well and truly looming – only 32 “sleeps” – apparently it is well-worn tradition for this column to draw up our very own Christmas list.
As you can imagine, this has taken quite a bit of research, but a girl’s gotta do, what a girl’s gotta do and all that…
So, anyone feeling particularly generous could do worse than visit Selfridges for me, where a Christmas Decadance Hamper comes in at a very reasonable £5,000.
Now I don’t want you all to think that I am an expensive date – chance would be a fine thing – so I wouldn’t expect you to splash out on the BVLGARI Divas’ Dream 18kt pink-gold, diamond watch, which comes in at £51,000. To be honest, I wouldn’t put that anywhere near my wrist but I might flog it on eBay if you insist…
What I really need of course is a new outfit for the DMA Awards (it’s on Tuesday December 4th at Old Billingsgate if you haven’t already booked your ticket), even though I still haven’t got mine in the post.
I must admit that I have taken quite a fancy to the Balmain One-shoulder velvet and tulle gown (just £10,400), although it could be a little precarious given my love of free alcohol.
But, dear Foxy fans, I really have set my heart on Alexander McQueen’s Crystal-embellished woven gown (£5,995) and the obligatory Jimmy Choo’s victoria 100 embellished satin courts (£1,495).
Then again, with all that about as likely as me leaving the DMAs in one piece, I’d better get back to the Black Friday bargain basement…
