Busty turns to Buxom at Aintree

Does my bum look big in this? Don’t even dare answer that one…The thing is, after devouring that huge cock (the chocolate one) and too many Easter eggs to mention, I’m having to squeeze into my new frock for Ladies Day at Aintree.
That’s right folks, I’m at the gee-gees again. Well, you have to go to the Grand National doncha, so I thought I’d make a weekend of it.
According to the official blurb, “known as the biggest social and style day out in the North West, Ladies’ Day promises to be more stylish than ever. Raceday fashions provide a spectacle of colour in the Red Rum Garden with some amazing prizes up for grabs for Aintree’s most stylish racegoers. With make-up sampling, goody bag giveaways and fashion shows all happening in this area, it’s the ultimate raceday style experience”.
In other words, it’ll be chockablock with WAGs, wanna-be WAGs and old slags. Hmmm I should fit right in then.
Anyway, I studied the form on the train up last night – well, picked a name I liked the look of – and have decided to splash my cash on ‘Buxom’, running in the 5:25pm. Come on, Busty and Buxom has to be a winning combination. And with my life savings going on at 20-1, I could soon be living it up…
One man who may be living it up for a while is the lovely Neil Francis, former creative partner at Stephens Francis Whitson – now VCCP me – who has left the agency and will no doubt be on a racing bike already. (Mind you, yesterday his smiling face was still on the website, snuggled between Ben Stephens and Chris Whitson at the top of the “people” page. Today he’s been PhotoShopped out but the pic now looks like his co-founders are chortling because he’s not there anymore. Oops.)
Still, hardly on the scale of UTalkMarketing which have only just taken former editor Clark Turner’s name of their website but the newsletter still comes from him – and he left over a year ago. As its blurb says, “you’ll find a much broader and insightful range of content than in the traditional trade press”. Just not very up to date that’s all…
Anyway, must dash, Aintree opened at 10am and I’ve got a bottle of pink fizz and a savoury Danish – only £29 in advance – waiting for me to nibble on…
