AirMiles data chief Martin exits

The head of customer engagement at The Mileage Company Dan Martin is leaving the business to pursue new opportunities.
Martin has been at the company – which runs AirMiles, BA Miles and offers loyalty scheme expertise and management to third parties – for 8 years.
During this time he has also held the roles of data strategy manager and head of customer insight.
As a leader in marketing team, Martin was responsible for leading a business change programme to position customer insight at the heart of the business; developing a suite of behaviour driven segmentations and more recently delivering a series of strategies designed to maximise customer value; and delivering a series of improvements to the customer experience.
He has also worked on partnerships with Tesco, Shell, Lloyds TSB, and RBS, and worked with DunnHumby to build and embed customer segmentation.
Prior to this role he worked at MRM Partners and for Chiltern Railways.
His former boss at AirMiles Nigel Grimes said: “Dan is a very passionate but considered individual who is both commercially and customer focused. He has a real passion for discovering insight and maximising its value across the business.”
