AIS planning hire boosts top team

AIS London has boosted its senior team with the appointment of senior planner Anna Hartelius who joins from Weber Shandwick, where she has worked on Microsoft and Johnson & Johnson.
Swedish-born Hartelius has worked in Stockholm, Washington DC and London across brands including VW and MTV.
At Weber Shandwick she was senior planner for almost two years working. Before that, she spent two years as director of marketing at architectural firm SGA Companies, based in Washington DC.
With two BAs and a Certification in Marketing Communications under her belt, Hartelius began her career in her native Sweden, where she joined Paradiset DDB (now DDB Stockholm) as a junior planner. Key accounts included Viagra and the Swedish Army.
Following that, she moved to one of Sweden’s leading agencies, KING, spending two and a half years working on brands such as IKEA, MTV, Volkswagen, 3 and SCA.
In her new role Hartelius will work on the EDF Energy and Škoda accounts.
AIS London strategy director Sarah Stratford commented: “Anna brings a fresh perspective to strategy, having worked around the globe across a range of disciplines. She’s instinctive and understands intuitively our customer-centric approach and the great work it helps to produce. Her experience will prove invaluable.”
Hartelius added: “What people care about today is how brands can help them do more, and experience more things. The AIS philosophy really rang true with me – and is reflected in their creative heritage, which is second to none.”
