BrewDog, the fastest growing ‘craft beer’ maker in the UK, has appointed Latitude Digital Marketing to handle its digital activity, including search engine optimisation (SEO) and Facebook
ads.
Founded by James Watt and Martin Dickie in 2007 as a two-man revolution against stuffy ales dominating the UK beer industry, BrewDog has taken the beer industry by storm.
It claims to be Scotland’s largest independently owned brewery, producing about 120,000 bottles per month for export all over the world.
The beers – which include brands such as Trashy Blonde, Punk IPA and I Hardcore You – are widely distributed to British supermarkets and are exported worldwide to countries including Japan, Taiwan, Estonia, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, the US, Canada and Australia.
Watt said: “Latitude’s approach to digital marketing is innovative and challenging the status quo, which echoes what we’re doing in the craft beer industry. We’ve gone through a period of huge growth in the last 12 months and I’m positive that partnering with Latitude will help us reach even more customers looking to drink quality beer.”
