Callcredit Information Group has acquired customer experience management specialist Numero in what it describes as a “multi-million pound” acquisition, although the exact details of the deal have not been revealed.
The Leeds-based business, which is backed by private equity firm GTCR, said the acquisition will accelerate the company’s software analytics strategy as well as new product development.
Established in 2001, Manchester-based Numero has a strong international and UK client base operating in six core sectors, which complement Callcredit’s client base, including retail, finance, telecoms, logistics, utilities and public sector.
Callcredit chief executive Mike Gordon said: “The acquisition demonstrates our commitment to customer experience management by giving us the underlying capabilities to build and deliver solutions that quickly deliver actionable consumer insight to clients, exposing us to higher-value client opportunities.”
Numero chief executive Guy Colclough added: “As a business wholly focused on championing the consumer experience, this exciting move represents the dawn of a new era for the company and the final realisation of our original ground-breaking idea in 2001.
“This is a perfect fit for our business and signifies a step change in our ambitions allowing us to accelerate our plans to expand our capabilities to deliver world class customer experience solutions.”
