Dare nets Cancer Research digital

2013-11-19 13_19_20-Cancer Research UK_ the UK's leading cancer charity _ Cancer Research UKCancer Research UK has boosted its digital capabilities by appointing Dare to work across social media and other online channels, following a pitch process.
Dare will support AMV BBDO, which runs the advertising account, and Rapp, which handles direct marketing activity.
The appointment follows news that the charity is overhauling its marketing communications strategy by implementing super-fast technology which slashes the time it takes to process CRM queries from many hours to just a few seconds.
It is not known whether Cancer Research UK’s existing digital agencies – The Good Agency, Polymath and Nameless – will now take a back seat, or continue to work on the account.
Michael Docherty, the head of digital at Cancer Research UK, said: “Good quality digital communications are essential in inspiring our audiences to support our pioneering research.
“Dare has an excellent team of creative and innovative minds who have shown passion and commitment to helping us to beat cancer sooner. We very much look forward to building a long standing relationship with them.”.
