Two former direct marketing agency chiefs have joined forces to launch an insight-driven management consultancy which they claim will help marketing functions to change how they work and what they deliver.
Corporate Punk is the brainchild of Julie Screech, the ex-head of data and CRM at both Joshua and Proximity London, and Paul Lewis, who has worked in senior planning roles at Rapier, Proximity and Albion, among others.
The duo claim Corporate Punk works differently to agencies and consultancies in that they do not think ‘solution first’, or spend time writing reports and proposing new forms of trickle-down management.
As the blurb states: “Instead, we offer strategic advice and practical coaching that over time helps an organisation build radical new capabilities, and get its people working together far more effectively than before.
“We help marketing functions to change how they work and what they deliver. And we do so in a way that adds value fast.
Lewis said: “A couple of years ago, a client told me that she’d be happy if I could solve a problem for her, but ‘love me forever’ if I helped her get 20% more out of her team. That struck me as an interesting insight. There are so many businesses with this sort of problem, and that’s how Corporate Punk was born.”
The business, whose partners include Albion, Innovation Bubble and 21 Trust, has already signed up clients in financial services, industrials, consulting and research.
