WPN Chameleon has overhauled its structure by taking the unusual step of splitting the agency into two separate divisions for digital and offline activity, in a move which has seen the appointment of new managing directors for each department.
While most agencies have integrated the digital and offline teams, WPN Chameleon says the move is designed to will help it focus on managing the various parts of its offering.
John Eversley, who has been at the agency since it launched in 2003, has been handed the role of agency managing director, while Vicky Reeves takes the corresponding role of managing director of digital, as well as continuing as deputy group chief executive.
Co-founder John Watson continues as chairman and also takes on the role of group CEO.
In the new role Eversley will lead the agency team in supporting the growing number of clients and helping Reeves to introduce and integrate the new digital technologies within the digital division.
In announcing the changes Watson said: “We grew income at 43% in 2015, so the merger of WPN and Chameleon in 2014 has been a tremendous success. Now’s the time reinforce the senior management team for further growth, and continue to deliver the best for our clients.
“These new business divisions will help us focus closely on managing the various parts of our offering, whilst allowing us to maintain our unique integrated offering across channels for clients as we enjoy our next phase of growth.”
