Gyro appoints DLKW digital team

Gyro has bolstered its creative department with the appointment of former DKLW duo Paul Campbell as senior art director and Steve Bartlett as senior creative.
With a combined 14 years’ experience, having previously worked at Ogilvy Interactive and Agency.com, the duo has helped create global campaigns for brands including Morrisons, BP, Cancer Research and IBM.
At Gyro they will work across accounts including FedEx, Heathrow Express, HP and L’Oreal.
Hired by DKLW in 2009 to bolster the agency’s digital offering, Campbell and Bartlett picked up a number of industry awards, including D&AD, Cannes, the ANNNAs and Campaign. This work includes developing the world’s first live interactive snow globe as well as the celebrated ‘Choo Choo Choo’ ad campaign for the trainline.com.
Gyro chief executive and chief creative officer Christoph Becker said: “In these post-privacy times, digital seems to be all-encompassing. Globally we’re hiring talent that not just understands the opportunities of the digital era, but who also live for the most powerful ideas.”
Gyro executive creative director Ian Kerrigan added: “Paul and Steve’s experience will improve creativity and integration within our existing clients, while also providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the whole agency. They will undoubtedly enhance the campaigns that Gyro produces.”
