GyroHSR appoints Kevin Allen

GyroHSR has hired BBDO/Proximity Worldwide global head of planning Kevin Allen as international planning director.
Allen originally joined Proximity London as new business planning director 2005, after the collapse of Cramm Francis Woolf. He had joined CFW when his own agency Onion – set up in 2000 – merged with the business.
During his time at CFW, Allen set up the agency’s digital division, working across all sectors but specialising in financial and government clients.
While at BBDO/Proximity Worldwide, Allen was instrumental in developing some of the agency’s largest international clients, such as GE, Bayer and Allianz.
Allen’s move to GyroHSR signals a major investment by the agency across planning and creative to support its growing number of global clients. So far this year, GyroHSR has won global assignments from FedEx and Heathrow Express, which led to five key appointments to the senior team at its Manchester and London offices.
GyroHSR’s other clients include Shell, Canon, Virgin Atlantic, Sony and T Mobile.
