Family, friends, and colleagues of the late Tod Norman have joined forces with Royal Mail MarketReach to run an event in celebration of the highly respected industry figure and recognised authority on business strategy, who passed away in June 2018.
The event, dubbed “Tod Talk”, will feature a lecture by Richard van Hooijdonk, one of the world’s most popular futurists and an inspired speaker, followed by a Q&A session. It will take place at Events@No6 in Aldgate on Tuesday December 10, with proceeds from ticket sales going to Brain Cancer Research.
Van Hooijdonk will be sharing his and his team’s research into tech trends such as robotics, drone technology, autonomous transport systems, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, biotech, nanotech, neurotech, blockchain, 3D and 4D printing and augmented and virtual reality and how they impact on today’s industries.
MarketReach head of communications planning Amanda Griffiths said: “Tod Talk is a celebration of Tod and his impact on all of us individually and collectively as part of Royal Mail MarketReach.
“Tod brought big ideas, big personality and a far-reaching world view to everything he did at MarketReach and we wanted to celebrate that with an event that will challenge and excite us all – with big thinking worthy of him.”
Tickets for the event are available on Eventbrite for a minimum donation of just £10, plus the EventBrite fee (£1.50). Further donations from attendees or from those who will not be able to attend but would still like to contribute can be made by clicking on ‘Tickets’ and selecting ‘Donation’ and following the prompts.
