Joshua G2 nets charity site revamp

Global sports charity Laureus, which financially supports and promotes the use of sport for social change, has appointed agency G2 Joshua to revamp its online presence following a four-way pitch.
The agency has been tasked with a complete overhaul of Laureus’ Internet activity, including a redesign and relaunch of its website – www.laureus.com. The interactive team will remodel the site’s content, format and navigation system as well as manage a full online integration with Laureus’ existing social media channels.
The new site, set to launch early 2012, will act as a key driver in increasing individual donations and bolstering Laureus’ position as a leader in the field of leveraging sport as an empowerment to improving the lives of people in deprived situations.
It will also provide latest news updates on the Laureus World Sports Awards 2012 which is to be held in London at the Central Hall, Westminster on February 6.
G2 Joshua interactive director Jason Bacon said: “This is a tremendously effective charity and we are inspired by their work. We’re thrilled to be on board and will relentlessly pursue a greater online engagement for Laureus, to help boost its global profile and ultimately allow the charity to continue to positively impact children’s lives across the world.”
