Legal & General Group is planning to beef up its affiliate marketing strategy with the appointment of Commission Junction to handle its account.
L&G previously used a combination of in-house and public networks but was looking to consolidate these and expand its affiliate marketing programme for its direct products.
With over 7 million customers in the UK across a range of life assurance, pensions, investments and general insurance plans, L&G is one of the UK’s leading financial services companies.
Commission Junction will develop an affiliate hub for L&G; an affiliate-facing microsite to provide all publisher tools, FAQs and creative as well as an avenue of communication between affiliates and account managers. L&G aims to develop a PayPerCall offering, helping affiliates track sales via telephone consultation.
