Mason Zimbler, the Harte-Hanks-owned technology marketing agency, has appointed former Teamspirit chief Alan Kittle as creative director.
Kittle has held senior roles at agencies including WWAV Scotland (now Rapp), and Teamspirit. He was most recently creative director at Kenyon Fraser.
He has worked on brands including Tesco Personal Finance, Scottish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Standard Life and Visit Scotland.
During his 20 years in the industry, Kittle has also scooped gongs at the IDM Business Performance Awards, the Money Marketing Awards and the Financial Services Forum Awards. Mason Zimbler’s clients include Microsoft, Canon, Sony, Sage and Toshiba.
Managing director James Trezona claimed Kittle’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the agency. “We needed a heavyweight presence to lead our talented creative professionals as we head into the next phase of the agency’s development,” Trezona explained.
“Alan is a first-rate creative director who has what it takes to keep his team stimulated and hungry for the next great piece of creative. His ability to spot the nucleus of an idea that people will connect with at an emotional level is truly inspiring. We expect 2013 to be a significant year for Mason Zimbler. With Alan at the helm, I’m confident that our creative team will reach ever greater heights.”
Kittle added: “Joining an agency with global clients and a global network unlocks exciting possibilities. Mason Zimbler has a wealth of data and insight at its fingertips which can underpin breakthrough, razor-sharp creative thinking. The entire team shares a passion for great creative, and understands the importance of innovative, intuitive marketing in the digital age.”
