NSPCC awards digital to Amaze

nspccChildren’s charity NSPCC has handed its digital account to St Ives-owned agency Amaze, with a brief to overhaul its strategy and redevelop its website.
Following a competitive nine-way pitch process, Amaze was selected on its ability to deliver across all project components, including user experience, brand, design, CMS and technical infrastructure.
The digital platform will be user-centric, reaching out to new digital audiences in order to support the charity’s overall aim to protect more children from harm. A key aim of the platform is to expand the reach of the charity and encourage and inspire more visitors to take action against child cruelty.
The revamped website will provide a more personalised experience and deliver more relevant and meaningful content.
Amaze chief executive Natalie Gross said: “The NSPCC is one of the UK’s most iconic charity brands and we are delighted to be its new digital partner as it looks to develop a long-term digital strategy. As a visionary charity, it understands the need to evolve its digital offering in order to most effectively communicate and engage with visitors and donors.
“We want to rewrite the rulebook for charities online. With our strong heritage in design and build, audience profiling and digital strategy, we are confident in our ability to deliver an innovative digital platform that transforms the effectiveness of the website and really shakes-up how the charity reaches out to its audiences.”
NSPCC head of development – communications Helena Raven added: “Amaze is a cut above the rest when it comes to demonstrating digital innovation, combined with understanding of our objectives and the challenges facing our charity. We have found a digital partner that will make sure information about child cruelty and how to prevent it, reaches everyone who needs it, which is vital in equipping society in the fight against child cruelty. By designing and building all the components that form our new digital presence, Amaze will play a key role in helping the NSPCC continue its vitally important work of expanding the reach of our services and ultimately helping and protecting children.”
