Procter & Gamble brand director Jo Vaughan, who has spent more than two decades in senior roles at the consumer goods giant, is switching agency side to join full-service agency Team Eleven as strategy director.
Founded in 2016 in Bradford on Avon, Team Eleven’s clients include Alfa Romeo, Wiltshire Farm Foods and dental brand Invisalign.
Vaughan’s appointment is part of the agency’s strategy to boost its senior team and she will join creative lead Lucy McIvor and client director Emma Bundock to complete the line up supporting the agency’s partners.
Vaughan, who joined P&G in 1999 has worked in digital marketing, CRM and brand marketing at the company across Europe, North America and Asia. She also has extensive experience in media planning and was most recently P&G’s head of media.
At Team Eleven, her key responsibilities will be to drive specific areas of the business including creative strategy and client service. She will be responsible for clients including Invisalign and Alliance Pharma (including brands Kelo-Cote, Nizoral, Aloclair, MacuShield) as well as taking a significant role in new business.
Vaughan said: “Team Eleven believe we can make anything happen, and that belief is rooted in strong core values, and extraordinarily talented people who want to deliver phenomenal work.
“The team are without a doubt the most talented bunch of people you could chose to work with, whom have a wealth of experience with massive clients across the world.
“We are a full-service advertising agency, without the overheads of the big cities – so can give our clients the best strategic and creative thinking, without the complexity and cost often found in larger networks.”
Team Eleven co-founder and strategy partner Nicholas Gill added: “It’s a massive coup for us in the next phase of our growth to bring someone of Jo’s calibre and phenomenal track record of delivering brand impact. That an agency based near Bath can attract this calibre of talent is also indicative of the changing nature and flexibility of work since the Covid-19 pandemic.
“People from P&G bring wonderful qualities and Jo has already made a significant impact on our current client base. She will be a pivotal figure as we look to continue to make things happen for brands and accelerate the growth, we have seen in the first five years of our existence.”
