Proximity London has secured a triple boost at this year’s US DMA International Echo Awards, securing three golds for its work with Virgin Holidays.
The agency, which has handled the Virgin Holidays account since 2016 and recently added the Virgin Atlantic brief, picked up golds for best use of email, best customer centric campaign and best loyalty or retention campaign.
The agency also scooped three bronzes; one each for Virgin Holidays, Procter & Gamble and The Economist. Meanwhile, Ogilvy UK landed two silvers and two bronzes for campaigns for IBM and What3Words.
The big winner on the night – held in Las Vegas at the US DMA’s annual “&Then” conference – was New Zealand agency Colenso BBDO which picked up the Echo Diamond Award for Pedigree SelfieSTIX, as well as five golds and two silvers.
Earlier this year, the 101-year-old US DMA was bought by the Association of National Agencies.
