Renault ties with RHS for green car

Renault is unveiling its new ZE electric vehicle range through a link up with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), which will see the car marque displayed at RHS events throughout the summer.
The activity, devised by agency Pulse Group, will include the upcoming RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, from July 3 to 8, where Renault is the official sponsor of the Conceptual Garden Category.
The exhibition space and creative for the activity have been designed to replicate an eco-friendly garden, complete with garage fascia, displaying new models from the ZE range. The stand will also be fitted with a variety of energy-saving accessories including a permeable driveway, solar lights and recycled plant pots.
Attendees will be invited to test drive the Renault Twizy and enter a prize draw to win RHS membership. People attending the event will also receive environmentally friendly hessian gift bags and seeds of plants used in the Renault Garden.
Renault marketing director Phil York said: “Pulse Group’s fun and eco-friendly stand reflects our commitment to developing vehicles using sustainable sources. By inviting people to experience our new range of electric vehicles, we hope to engage with those environmentally aware consumers looking for a more eco-friendly way to travel.”
Pulse Group chief executive Mike Spicer added: “We wanted the creative to highlight Renault’s green credentials and designed the space using solely energy-saving materials to demonstrate how Renault practises what it preaches.”
