Waitrose is launching a loyalty push to its myWaitrose members, sending them a Christmas card containing money-off vouchers as a thank-you for their custom.
The campaign, by Kitcatt Nohr Digitas, follows the expansion of myWaitrose and the introduction of a myWaitrose card in October this year.
The card’s envelope carries the line: ‘Serve up a little magic this Christmas’. The Christmas card features an image of a Christmas tree and contains the message: ‘Wishing you a magical Christmas and a happy new year. Thanks for shopping with us this year from all of us at myWaitrose’.
The card also reminds recipients to use their myWaitrose card when they shop. The more customers shop with Waitrose using their myWaitrose card, the more offers, competitions and ideas they receive, and the more tailored the offers become.
The card offers a broad range of benefits, including an ongoing opportunity to win free shopping, and other money-saving deals, i.e. money off fuel.
“We wanted to send our myWaitrose members something to say thank you and make them feel special this Christmas,” said Neil Stead, marketing manager, direct marketing at Waitrose. “We hope the vouchers enclosed in the Christmas card will help with their shopping in the festive season.”
