Doncaster Council awards brief to Media Octopus

Doncaster 1Doncaster Council has aiming to boost its resident engagment programme – which encourages local people to go online rather than to council offices – by handing the activity to Manchester digital agency The Media Octopus.
The agency has been briefed to design and deliver digital and social media campaigns that will promote the portfolio of resident services to the community.
Doncaster has a long-standing commitment to engage with residents – TMO will expand upon the “Don’t Wait In-Line, Go Online!” campaign, working with a number of the organisation’s departments.
The Doncaster Council win comes on the back of a hat-trick of recent major digital wins from Scotmid Cooperative, Wolseley and Betta Living.
Media Octopus chief executive Michael Winniczuk said: “2016 is proving to be very successful. Doncaster is the second largest town in the UK – this win adds to our expanding portfolio of local and central government clients. We are delighted to have been awarded the opportunity and look forward to making a real difference for Doncaster.”
