Soul has bolstered its senior team as part of plans to “steer the creative ship” in a major recruitment drive following the capture of the Avios loyalty scheme CRM business.
MRM Meteorite creative group heads Pete Williams and Chris Day, who have been a creative team for 14 years, join the business as creative leads. They have also held senior roles at Rapp and Geronimo.
Williams and Day have worked with major brands across all disciplines; including P&O Ferries, Churchill, Vauxhall. Barclaycard, Virgin MediaSeat, ING Direct and Direct Line.
At Soul, they will work across all of the agency’s accounts and report into Soul founding partner and creative director Shaun Moran. He said: “Chris and Pete mark an important stage in Soul’s growth and they will be instrumental in the next…and the next.”
Day said: “We jumped at the chance to join Soul at such an exciting time. With a proven track record of winning big name clients from big name agencies, we look forward to helping Shaun and the team steer the creative ship.”
Their appointment follows a series of hirings, including new business and marketing director Julia Fontaine from Edelman, senior planner Natasja Gilchrist from National Schools Partnership, senior account manager Hanna Wade from OgilvyOne, and account managers Laura Steel and Joe Slevin, who join from OgilvyOne and WDMP respectively.
