Media Octopus hires digital chief after growth spurt

TMO.AshleyMolyneuxCustomer acquisition agency The Media Octopus has appointed a new digital lead on the back of a raft of new client wins for the Manchester-based business.
Ashley Molyneux joins the company in May, marking a return to the agency following a two-year spell during which she worked for Return on Digital and Bring Digital in the North West.
In addition to leading the existing digital team, she will oversee the introduction of a number of proprietary, digital-based product offerings. Molyneux has a wealth of experience leading digital accounts including DW Fitness Clubs and Tesco.
Since the turn of the year, TMO has brought on board a hat-trick of digital wins in the food retail, energy and home improvements sectors, including Wolseley Group, Scotmid Cooperative, and Betta Living.
Molyneux said: “In the past two years, TMO has enjoyed impressive growth and work with some incredible brands. It’s exciting times for the business and I can’t wait to be an instrumental part of it.”
