Acxiom brings in ex-MySpace chief

Acxiom has created the role of chief revenue officer and executive vice president and handed it to former MySpace and MTV Networks head Nada Stirratt, who will report directly to Acxiom’s global boss in the US.
Stirratt will oversee all sales, account management, delivery and consulting at all of Acxiom’s US and international operations, meaning US, UK and European bosses will report into her.
Among her duties will be a sharp focus on innovation and client satisfaction, as well as driving Acxiom’s strategy to profitably serve the largest markets in the world.
“Nada is considered one of the top digital sales leaders in the world, having held senior positions at some of the most iconic companies in the advertising and digital space,” said Acxiom chief executive and president Scott Howe. “Acxiom is in transformation mode, and Nada’s deep knowledge in digital advertising, integrated marketing and delivery offers the perfect fit to advance our marketing and data services, client-centric culture and global footprint.”
Stirratt added: “I believe we are at a critical time in the world of marketing and customer communication. The convergence of the media and data businesses is happening and Acxiom, with its impressive suite of products, is uniquely positioned to lead these discussions.”
While serving as chief revenue officer at MySpace, Stirratt established MySpace Studio, an in-house creative think tank, to develop new products, original content and unique marketing programs for advertisers and consumers. At MTV Networks, she oversaw digital advertising sales, strategy and operations across all web properties.
Stirratt has also served as senior vice president, corporate development, at Advertising.com and helped grow that business into the largest ad network of its time. She began working in the digital space in 1997 as senior vice president, advertising, for Moviefone. When that company was sold to AOL, Stirratt served as vice president, business development, at AOL.
