So, it was au revoir France et bonjour la Grande-Bretagne, nous nous sommes amusés pendant la durée. Yep, it was goodbye to the land of soleil, mer et sexe français and hello to the home of la pluie, le froid et le travail ennuyeux.
If like me you are looking for something to lift those post-holiday blues, where better to go than to everyone’s favourite adult entertainment site Pornhub?
Now, while my first instinct was to make up for lost time – well I told you the Internet connection was a nightmare in France – I must admit my head was turned by the launch of the site’s third annual Pornhub Cares Scholarship contest, which is offering applicants the chance to get their sticky mitts on $25,000 by proving they are contributing to a better future for the world.
And I quote: “Here at Pornhub, we firmly believe in the power of young people to help shape and improve the world of tomorrow. Not only are we looking for an outstanding scholar , but someone who is also an active leader within their community, who consistently strives to make others happy, provides for those in need and whose work is contributing to a better future for the world.
“Since the inception of the Pornhub Cares Scholarship, we’ve received thousands of applications from supremely qualified candidates spanning the entire globe. We are very much looking forward to evaluating this year’s applications, which will surely be the best yet.”
OK, I might not be as young as I once was, but hey, I am sure Pornhub will jump at the chance to give little ol’ Busty a leg up.
Anyway, all I have to do is submit an essay between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length, addressing the following the question: “How is your work contributing to a better future for the world?” In addition, applicants can submit an optional video clip further illustrating their response, as well as get recommendations from those whose world has been improved by their work.
Now, I can just about bash out 1,500 words, and the video clip will certainly be no problem, but is there any chance you Busty fans could give me a few recommendations? I notice that on LinkedIn you lot can be quite gushing; surely you can gush for me, too?
