And so to Dirty Leeds, dear Foxy fans, as the Decision Marketing Bus Tour of Britain continues to wend its merry way in search of the sexiest towns in the country (according to the Lovehoney interactive map of Britain’s raunchiest places to live and visit, of course).
Now, while many claim it’s Dirty Leeds by name and Dirty Leeds by nature, Visit Leeds has a slightly different take: “The unofficial capital of Yorkshire. A city at the heart of the action, bursting with life and cultural energy. A vibrant creative community, with award-winning national theatre and dance companies, a world-class arena, and a thriving independent food scene you won’t find anywhere else.
“A renowned retail destination, where big brands meet Victorian arcades. And a welcoming host for international sporting events, colourful carnivals, and a packed calendar of festivals and events. A skyline filled with breathtaking architecture, and a destination easily reached by road, rail and air. We are many things. We are Leeds.”
Well, they certainly are many things, that’s for sure.
For instance, Leeds recently slammed into the top 10 dogging spots in the UK, with 63 noted popular sites, including the A64 Red Bus Layby LS14 3AE, Golden Acre Park, LS16 8BQ. Morefield Road Recreation Ground LS2 3AX and Beckets Park LS9 7LP. We are nothing if not informative.
Meanwhile, according to the Hook Up Travels website, local girls are loud, extroverted, and indecisive: “Girls in Leeds may seem almost contradictory at first, they will do their best to keep you chasing. As a general rule, they’ll be quite rowdy and blunt when it comes to what they want, but it might be quite difficult to get them. They love a good party and a night full of fun. Even though being their ideal man is rather difficult, it’s much easier to be passable. Being funny will come as a huge boon here.
“Girls in Leeds range from fit to fat, however, you’ll find the girls are a bit more on the chubby side than in other countries.”
As you can tell, we’re fitting in perfectly. Four weeks in and the bus suspension is starting to creak as Roly-poly Roxy, Ponderous Peggy, Mega Meggy and, yours truly, Chockablock Foxy roll – quite literally – from town to town.
The question is, where to next? The interactive map places Liverpool as 759th, Manchester 341st, and Cardiff 254th. Well, put it this way, “Cloi eich meibion”.
