Amaze is continuing to strengthen its management team by appointing a new chief commercial officer to drive forward the digital agency’s business development strategy.
Kirstie Buchanan joins from Manchester agency Rippleffect and will be responsible for client services, new business and marketing functions, reporting directly to Amaze chief executive Tony Murphy.
She has worked in the digital marketing industry for over 16 years; and spent seven years at Reading Room, where she worked on both marketing and as a creative director. Buchanan is also chair of the DMA North Council.
Buchanan said: “I’ve always been impressed by the positioning, services and the ethos at Amaze. It has a highly respected brand and team and I’m excited by the opportunity of playing a key role and contributing to the next stage of the agency’s growth. I look forward to working closely with new colleagues and also getting out and about and meeting our clients, partners and prospects.
“Amaze has a deserved reputation as a leading digital innovator in the commercial market place and there is a tremendous opportunity to grow and develop further and continue to diversify into new sectors, bringing our strong business values, insights, expertise and service delivery to match the demands and rightly high expectations of our clients.”
Murphy added: “We’re delighted to welcome Kirstie onboard and we’re excited about the next chapter in Amaze’s development.”
Two weeks ago, the St Ives-owned agency promoted strategy director Alex Comyn to the new role of chief strategy officer to lead the unification of its data intelligence and experience design disciplines.
