Callcredit hires former O2 technology chief as COO

Steve Humm 1Callcredit Information Group has appointed former O2 and Sunderland FC technology chief Steve Humm as its new chief operating officer to help drive the company’s growth strategy.
Humm joins from IT services firm KCOM, where he was chief information officer. He has extensive experience in the private sector and a track record of delivering major transformational change across a number of industries including telecoms, financial services, banking, leisure and multi-channel retail.
During this time he has worked for Hewlett-Packard, O2, Sunderland FC, Equifax and Bradofrd & Bingley.
Humm will work closely with Callcredit chief executive Mike Gordon and the executive team to support the implementation of the group’s growth strategy, as well as ensure high levels of customer service.
Gordon said: “Steve combines a strong business and industry understanding with a real commercial approach and his experience will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth.”
Humm added: “Having met a number of the executive team and people from the operational team I was struck by the ambition, sense of purpose and how easy it was to get on with them all. I can’t wait to contribute to the ongoing success of the business.”
