Internet banking group Aldermore, which provides financial services to SMEs, has hired Equimedia to spearhead its digital marketing strategy as the company seeks to promote its services as an alternative to the high street giants.
The bank, set up in 2009 under the strapline “a new name in British banking”, provides retail and business savings and asset and invoice finance, as well as commercial and residential mortgages.
Equimedia has been briefed to devise the strategy – including pay-per-click (PPC), aggregators, affiliates and display formats – and will also be in charge of media planning and buying.
Helen Walsh, the head of digital marketing at Aldermore, said: “Since our opening discussions with Equimedia, their experience so closely matches our own that we know we have found a winning combination in our partnership.
“Our products and services have helped so many companies and individuals already and with Equimedia’s help we can fulfil our genuine wish to help more people with their financial needs. We’re sure 2013 is going to be another positive year.”
Founded in 1999 and based in Swindon, Equimedia’s other clients include Cornhill, Allianz, Panasonic, BMW, Audi and Sheilas’ Wheels.
