The Salocin Group, the company behind agencies Edit, Join the Dots and Wood for Trees, has appointed former Go Inspire chief Clare Davidson group principal consultant, with a brief to drive new business across all brands, but with an emphasis on the charity sector.
Davidson has extensive not-for-profit experience, having worked in the sector across both cause and prize-led fundraising for nearly two decades.
She joined Go Inspire in 2010 as sales and marketing director, and was later promoted to managing director of Go Inspire Connect.
Davidson has hands-on experience of working with charities to create customer and donor journeys – building loyalty with their brands and increasing their audiences’ lifetime value. She is able to work with clients from the concept stage, enhancing the partnership she builds with her clients.
She said: “Over the past couple of years I’ve seen The Salocin Group increase their range of services, offering a joined-up solution for clients which is second to none in the sector. I’m really excited to be embarking upon this new phase of my career and working with the company during a period of significant growth.”
Davidson will work alongside The Salocin Group founder and CEO Nick Dixon, who is also CEO of Edit Agency, as well as chief growth officer J Cromack (both pictured).
Dixon said: “We’re building a comprehensive range of services and solutions across a number of industry verticals – from data science, CRM, martech to customer acquisition.
“We’re in a unique position in the market place, with 50+ not-for-profit clients.
“That means ensuring we have the right people on board with the right skills, experience and mindset is vital to the success of our business, but also has a real impact to the performance of multiple charities. I’m thrilled to welcome Clare into the team.”
