Harveys and Bensons for Beds is aiming to beef up its online activity, including a greater focus on ecommerce, with the appointment of a three new agencies to work alongside current media agency RP2 to support group CEO Stuart Machin’s five-point growth strategy.
The move sees VCCP take over from McCann Manchester to handle a new brand proposition and creative due to launch later in the year and digital agency iProspect has been brought on board to help drive the brand’s SEO and social media content strategy, led by the agency’s Manchester office.
Meanwhile consumer lifestyle PR agency Kazoo will manage the group’s overall external communications including consumer, corporate and crisis public relations.
The news comes on the back of the retail group securing a new two-year loan, which will help to support both brands’ long-term vision to become the UK’s leading bed and home furnishing retailer.
