Holme joins Chemistry hiring spree

laura-2784_lrgPublicis Chemistry has strengthened its senior team by hiring former Havas and JWT executives to work on the EE account, as well as drafting in Laura Holme to head up its new business operation.
Havas global group director Andrew Brooks, who headed up the agency’s Reckitt Benckiser account, joins as a managing partner to lead the EE account. He is joined by Patrick Dent, a board account director at JWT London, as a business director on EE.
The agency has also appointed Laura Holme (pictured) as its head of new business. Having started her career in 1988 at Bastable-Dailey, Holme also had spells at some of the DM industry’s leading agencies including, Harrison Troughton Wunderman, Proximity and DraftFCB. She joins from Mcgarrybowen, where she had been since March 2013.
Publicis Chemistry new business wins in 2013 included Royal Mail, Argos, Garnier, Gü and Hotels.com.
Chief executive Mike Welsh said: “We have big ambitions for 2014, so I’m delighted to have these incredibly experienced and talented individuals who will bring energy, commitment, and, no doubt, growth and success to the agency.”
