Marketing and data analytics firm Marketing Metrix – launched by former WWAV director Bill Portlock – is expanding its operation by launching its first US office, in San Francisco.
Originally set up in 2005, the company offers a range of services to clients such as data modelling, segmentation and hosting, as well as a raft of its own products including the recently launched Mortgage Optimisation Tool (MOT).
Headed up by Linda VanderMarliere, the San Francisco office will be working with US-based companies to offer services including big data analytics, segmentation and social media integration. Marketing Metrix will also act as a launch-pad for US companies looking to target the UK market.
Marketing Metrix managing director Bill Portlock said: “This is a great expansion for our business and we are excited to explore new opportunities in the US. With her wealth of experience in the industry, Linda is the natural choice to head up the new office.”
VanderMarliere added: “The company has a really solid foundation in the UK and we are hoping to establish a similar client base in the US.”
As part of the move, former head of analytics Grant Hecht will take on the new role of international head of analytics, responsible for work on both sides of the Atlantic.
