Global analytics and technology company Media iQ has recruited Estée Lauder director of media Nicola Young to drive firm’s marketing strategy across the key EMEA regions.
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in the UK, Media iQ claims to help clients understand their data better to derive maximum value from insights. It has over 300 staff serving over 500 clients – including BT, Tesco, Vizeum and MediaCom – from 12 offices in North America, Europe and Asia.
As vice-president of marketing EMEA, Young will play a pivotal role in helping Media iQ reposition itself as a company which combines human ingenuity with marketing intelligence data, to help businesses thrive. She the latest in a number of recent hires made by chief marketing officer Rebecca Mahony.
Prior to Estée Lauder, where she was worked across the entire portfolio of brands such as Clinique, MAC, Jo Malone and Tom Ford, Young was group director of marketing at Global Radio. She has also had spells at Miroma Group and as an independent marketing consultant, working for the Lawn Tennis Association and Park Publishing.
Mahony said: “Nicola will play a critical role in driving forward our ambitious Media iQ growth plans and helping to make Media iQ famous for delivering insights that deliver tangible business outcomes. We know she will fit into our company culture which has underpinned our global success to-date.”
