MeritDirect unveils global database

business-woman 2 - CopyMeritDirect, the US data group which has just expanded into the UK market, is launching an international version of its OmniChannelBase designed to provide a state-of-the-art multichannel database for global marketers.
With over 70 million records, OmniChannelBase International covers all major B2B categories and direct marketing channels. It features a wealth of global data which the company claims has not so far been readily available to marketers.
The data includes response generated names from many major brands in vertical markets such as technology, healthcare, pharmaceutical and science, electronics and manufacturing and more.
Merit Direct vice-presient of data and media services Karie Burt, who is heading up the UK and international office, said: “The opening of our London office cements our commitment to the local UK and European market. Our first priority was to take a fresh approach to building a multi-source, multi-channel database.
“Launching OmniChannelBase International is our first initiative, with over 70 million records, in over 200 countries and over 5.5 million email addresses. We have eschewed a quick build process in order to create a robust, response-led file with excellent address hygiene to ensure the best outcomes for our clients across the globe.”
Founded in 2000, Merit specialises in both business and consumer data, and offers list management, list brokerage, interactive services, circulation management, and data and media services. The London office opened last month at 3 More London, Riverside, with former Mardev-dm2 chief Burt running both the UK and New York operations.
