Former Mindshare head of direct marketing Lucy Stafford has set up her own consultancy, LSBS Consulting, after the leaving the business following 6 years as managing director.
Stafford, who ran three divisions at the media company – including DM, business-to-business and local/regional operations – is already working with three companies, Jacob Bailey, MediaLab Group, and TPG Media.
A well-respected figure in the media industry, Stafford started her career at RD Consultancy in 1991, staying three years and ultimately holding the role of marketing and sales manager. She then switched to Tri-Direct and eventually became a board director responsible for media and client services.
After nearly 14 years at the business she switched over to Mindshare in August 2007. While there, she oversaw a major growth in revenue for the media agency as well as working on econometrics, budget optimisation and strategic consultancy.
Stafford has also been a key member of DMA committees, sitting on the Insert Council for more than 11 years and chairing it for four. In addition, she has worked on the DMA Advisory Council, the Agency Council as well as being a DMA grand prix judge.
