Omnis Data, the marketing data services agency launched in November 2015 by a trio of ex-Trading Floor staff, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of former CallCredit partnerships expert James Monkman as head of partnerships and compliance.
He joins co-founders Zoe Palethorpe, Ben Antcliff and John Hawkes who left Trading Floor last year, four years after it was acquired by Callcredit for £6.2m. Trading Floor founder Chris McDonald also left the business last year.
Monkman started his career at Dunn & Bradstreet, then had a spell at Ehoca before joining the data partnerships team at Callcredit in 2010, where he stayed for just under five years. He joins Omnis from GBG, where he was data partner manager.
Palethorpe said: “We know from our time working with James previously that our valued data partners are in safe hands. With an impressive knowledge of the data landscape, he is the right person to negotiate our clients safely through the General Data Protection Regulation changes and ensure that Omnis and our clients remain at the leading edge of quality data collection and provision across the UK.
“With many data service providers failing to satisfactorily tackle the changing regulatory position, Omnis operates the UK’s only sector-specific marketing acquisition database and are building on our reputation as the only point of call for transparent, compliant and performance led acquisition marketing data.”
Monkman added: “The flexibility and agility with which the systems the team have built and populated with key partner data sets reflects the can-do ethos of all at Omnis data, and I look forward to working with the team to support client campaigns across multiple industries.”
