Philips is offering one young man the chance to be shaved by Playboy model turned TV presenter Kelly Brook in a viral campaign for its male grooming products.
Created by WDMP, the campaign is designed to build interest around a Philips Bodygroom Barbershop event which is taking place in London’s Covent Garden this weekend.
WDMP also created the web pages for male grooming on the Philips website.
Targeting young men, the viral video features Brook armed with a Philips body grooming shaver in a barbershop. It has been seeded on YouTube and across other sites which the target market is interested in.
The video, running on the Philips website, directs viewers to Facebook, where they can win the chance to be shaved by Brook.
Brook will be hosting the ‘Philips BodyGroom Barbershop’ – dubbed the ultimate male grooming experience – where men have the chance to have their chest shaved by a selection of ‘barbershop babes’.
Every man who opts for a shave will have the chance to have their picture taken with Brook or the ‘babes’, and the company is promising that “a selection of VIP celebrity guests” will be visiting the shop over the course of the day.
There will also be the opportunity to win a selection of Philips male grooming products, and a trip for two to Cancun.
